Windows dos box flashes couple/few times a day on laptop

I have one of those Motile laptops that was on sale at Walmart and mentioned here earlier this year. It's the M141 model. Everything is up to date on it, but usually shortly after turning on, I'll see what looks like a dos window flash so fast I can't make out a thing. Depending on how long I'm on it, I'll see more of them over time. Can't find any reference to what it's doing in any logs.

 

Anyone have any idea what this goofy thing is doing? Don't have anything like this happening on any of my other Windows 10 computers.

what kind of apps have you installed and what OEM apps were included?

 

some startup apps will cascade some CMD windows down your screen on login; they generally flash so fast they're hardly noticeable. I have that happen when I log into my work computer on Windows 10
