Izlude Posted October 19, 2020 Share Posted October 19, 2020 Just bought a steamer basket, gave it a wash... but when i started using it, the water below (the boiling water) turned a bit yellow and the fumes are giving me acid reflux. is the basket poisonous? toss it and use metal? so weird... i steamed some buns, but i'm afraid they may have absorbed some of the wood scent, which maybe isn't safe? what say you? it's real strong smelling...
