Seems a little odd. They have the 9900ks listed at 4ghz but it is clocked at 5ghz stock.

The 9900ks is 4ghz stock. That is, its base clock is at 4ghz. Its rated boost clock is 5ghz.

If that's true, off the top of my head, I don't think that AMD has been of Intel since before the 'Core 2 Duo' era, which was basically before about mid-2006. because back when I built my previous PC in March 2006, AMD was still ahead of Intel for some years until the Core 2 Duo's came out and I don't think Intel lost the speed crown since in terms of performance per core.
