nekrosoft13

So I have 6 PCs that took the KB4580364 19042.610 just fine, except one PC.

What ever I try (SFC, DISM, nuking SoftwareDistribution folder, windows catalog) etc...

I keep getting this error "Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x8007000d)"

here is a section from WindowsUpdage log

Anyone have any idea how to get this update to install.

If Steven's fix doesn't work, wait til the next update and see if that installs. If the next update also doesn't install, I might recommend downloading the media creation tool and doing an in place install of what you already have. That will probably fix whatever is corrupted.

got it applied finally...

so 19042.610 iso from 19042.572 didn't work... it gave me an error that I couldn't apply update to newer build.. and that all programs and would get erased... that made no sense..

so then I managed to backtrack from 19042.572 to 19041.572, then I tried the iso before and didn't compained about the never build any more but update failed with same update...

after more tinkering... i found out the recovery partition was corrupt.. so I recovered the recovery partition from last months backup and tried the ISO method again and it worked fine then.

So i'm on 19042.610 now.
