Razer launches two new headsets designed for Xbox

Microsoft is gearing up to release the Xbox Series X|S next week, and reviews are starting to come out today. To go along with that, Razer has announced a couple of headsets today, the Kaira and Kaira Pro, which are designed for the Xbox consoles and ecosystem.

The highlight of the announcements is the Kaira Pro, since it's designed to not only work with existing and upcoming Xbox consoles, but also PCs and mobile devices, where Xbox Game Pass is also accessible. The Kaira Pro supports the proprietary Xbox Wireless connection so it works with the consoles without any adapters, but it also has Bluetooth 5.0 so you can use it with your phone or PC more easily.

As for the actual sound, Razer is using its TriForce Titanium 50mm drivers, which debuted with the BlackShark V2 Pro headset. There's also an EQ preset button, so users can switch between different audio profiles on the fly. The headset also features the "HyperClear Supercardioid" microphone, but it's actually detachable, and there's another microphone built into the headset to make it easier to use on the go.

The Kaira Pro promises to last 20 hours on a charge with Chroma lighting disabled, or 15 hours with it enabled. If you're playing for that long at a time, the earpads use memory foam covered with breathable fabric, promising to be more comfortable over long periods.

Meanwhile, the Razer Kaira is fairly similar, but geared at the users that want to play exclusively on Xbox consoles. This version drops Bluetooth 5.0 support, and the Supercardioid mic isn't removable since it's meant to be used at home. Aside from that, it's pretty much the same as the Kaira Pro.
