CloudEngineer
Hey Guys, I'm not massively knowledgeable when it comes down to PC Audio. I do a little bit of recording (for fun) some stuff on the guitar so I have exposure to it but nothing super in depth. Is there any need for me to keep the onboard realtek alc1200 audio day to day on my x570 mobp when I have an komplete audio 6 usb audio interface (not the new version, this one is about 4 years old) has the onboard stuff caught up or any disadvantages to using the Audio Interface over onboard? Mindovermaster Moderator Posted November 10, 2020 Moderator Share Posted November 10, 2020 There's next no difference unless you are an audiophile. If you want to use a sound card other than your onboard, be my guest. You can even disable onboard sound in EUFI/BIOS. Depends what your ears tell you, bud.
