Couch / Sofa cushions

I am wondering if anyone has ever washed cushions that come with sofas / couches which are covered with a fabric and zipped on to hold the covers in place. If if it possible to wash them, I assume you have to wash them on a gentle cycle. If someone could answer me if this is possible I would greatly appreciate it.

We've washed the covers then flat air dry. Push that foam back in and Bob's your uncle.

As said, the key is to air dry them flat so they don't get misshapen. I find them easiest way to put them back on is to put the cover inside out, start at the corners furthest from the zip, then roll the cover up the foam. Don't try and cram the foam into the cover, or it'll look rubbish and feel uneven when you park your posterior.

When I wash mine, I remove the cushion inside then I wash them at the same time as my towels.  Then when air-drying, I stuff them with the towels so they dry "puffed" up, and keep their shape.
