am_fek
Not everybody lives in America, much to Apple's surprise! And, unlike America, many places in the world operate off a dd/mm/yyyy format rather than a mm/dd/yyyy format. In other words, the American format for today's date is 02/11/04, but in many other places it's 11/02/04. This is what I've set in the International prefpane, but some apps (notably Unison newsreader) are ignoring this, choosing to go ahead and use the American format anyway. This is irritating and confusing in my less lucid moments. Surely there is a way around this, surely the purpose of the International preferences is totally wasted when applications can just ignore what is set there? So umm, yeah.. help please?
