Disable the insert key in Windows permanently

This thing drives me nuts when I am editing a post or using our CMS on Neowin. I found the solution here https://superuser.com/questions/31794/windows-insert-key-anti-functionality-accidentally-triggers-how-to-stop-it-perm for clarity, this for when the cursor starts replacing every character you have your cursor on rather than putting it in front of a character.

  1. Go to Start → Run → regedit
  2. Go to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout
  3. Right-click on the right half of the screen and choose New → Binary Value
  4. Name the new value Scancode Map
  5. Enter 000000000000000002000000000052E000000000
  6. Close regedit
  7. Reboot.

Optional: you can take the Insert key off of your keyboard when done.

Or do as I did and save the following as disable_insert_key.reg and merge (as an Administrator) into registry.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout]
"Scancode Map"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,02,00,00,00,00,00,52,e0,00,00,00,00

Reboot + profit.

      Hi to all,
I runs a Startup company with 10 employees working with 10 computers. I have been using Airtel Broadband connection. There is no server -client network. Internet cable directly connects to 8-port switch and from there goes to each computer.
for the past one month I have been seeing rapid decrease in data.
I would like to know How I can monitor each of my employees computer ?
How can I view each of their systems downloading rates daily?
How can I able to control it?
Without any external Device like routers, Is there any Open source or Free Softwares avaliable to monitor each Computer?
      Please guide me.
      Thank you,

      Some background:
I upgraded to a Lumia 920 (from Samsung Focus) last week and last night recalled that I needed to do this additional step on my WP7.x/iPhone such that Gmail will actually delete emails instead of archiving (why does Google think that I want to archive junk/spam by default is beyond me).
To Google's credit, they've had this page, m.google.com/sync that you have to open on a mobile device and toggle archive/delete there. It seems that this page has now conveniently stopped working from any mobile device and instead links to a useless page which refers to Windows Mobile instead.

I finally managed to work around it when I found this page and decided to document/rant here for easy reference.
      1. Open IE10 dev. tools (press F12) on your PC
      2. In dev. tools menubar Tools > Change user agent string > Windows Phone 7* or Apple Safari (iPad)
      3. Open this URL: https://m.google.com...=mobileproducts

      4. Now log in and you will be on the old page where you can toggle the archive option.
      5. Additionally you can also select to sync additional calendars here.
      6. You can do this on Firefox as well but you will need to install add on to change user agent and also disable JavaScript.
*I tried first with WP8 user agent but then I reached a different page. Do no evil indeed, eh?

Ok, So I have a script and I want to output whatever it puts on the screen to a log file, I know this is really simple and I've googled and got some bits but I am unsure as to where in the script I should put them.
      Any help would be appreciated.

      Heya guys,
so we all know that the next Mac lineup update is right around the corner, but some have bought a Mac and when they showed off their babies they might have been told it wasn't very wise to buy now.
If you are amongst those who now want to return their Mac, here's how you prepare your machine to be factory-esque and your data gone from the drive(s). :)

Let me know what you think, feel free to post comments
      , too.Cheers!
