At CES this year, HP announced a bunch of new business PCs, but there's one single new consumer PC: the Envy 14. It's a mainstream laptop that's made for creators, packing performance and an exceptional display into a somewhat compact footprint.
Starting with the screen, it has a 14-inch 16:10 1920x1200 display, making it 11% taller than a 16:9 display. HP is also promising Delta E
It's also powerful, including Intel's 11th-generation 'Tiger Lake' processors. Along with that, it comes with some pretty beefy graphics for a 14-inch laptop, in the form of an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 Ti with 4GB GDDR6 memory. Thanks to Tiger Lake, it also has Thunderbolt 4 connectivity and up to 16GB DDR4-3200 SDRAM. That all comes in a metal chassis that weighs 3.53 pounds.
HP is also boasting a physical shutter for the webcam, a mute microphone key, and AI Noise Removal to help with that background noise while you're working at home. The Envy 14 is coming this month, starting at $999.
The company also introduced a few new monitors. There are new M-series FHD monitors, including the M24f, M27f, and M32f with 99% sRGB color gamut. Those are coming in March starting at $139. There are also new E24u and E27u G4 USB-C monitors, which can power a laptop up to 65W and include HP Eye Ease. Those are coming in February for $219 and $339, respectively.
