Razer Central spam notifications?

So I have everything turned off about promotions and marketing but I still got a notification overlay for some giveaway promotion they are doing, which I consider to be spam

 

I went into my settings, and yup, everything was turned off:

I don't use the Razer software myself, but this sounds like a bug, as you should get no notifications based on my understanding of the options you selected.

 

Report to Razer as a bug?

So that's twice this week so far.

Ah right,. it is a separate setting for notifications, go figure. Yet another company splitting off settings just to make it easier for this sort of thing to happen.

Razer hardware used to be decent, but now the software that they force you to use is massive bloat, not to mention that it used to do crypto mining (but they call it Razer rewards?) not sure if they are still doing that or not, but my impression of their hardware was that it has gone way downhill. The issue you are showing there just proves how crappy the software has gotten.
