It should be a USB-B to USB-A cable. In fairness to me, the last time I ever had to hunt for a cable for the UPS it was specially made so it had to be bought from APC. The device is a Backup pro 1000, and searching APC's website does not tell me the name of the cable and searching Amazon for APC Backup Pro 1000 cable yields nothing related to the cable.
