Google's cloud gaming service is currently available in 22 territories around the globe. Stadia is available on many platforms such as desktops, TVs, and phones. In February, the tech giant promised to bring more than 100 games to the game streaming platform's library in 2021.

Despite the size and availability of Stadia, it lacked one crucial feature until today: a search bar. That changed today with the introduction of a search bar. The new update is currently rolling out to web users of Stadia.

In addition to the new search function on the Stadia store, Google also offered users a sneak peek of upcoming updates for the web UI. The company plans to make Stadia accessible directly through internet browsers on Android instead of launching the Stadia app to reach it.

Google will also introduce an activity feed on the cloud gaming platform. Users will be able to share game-related content with their friends, including gameplay footage, and react to posts with emoticons. They will also be able to share their game states on the activity feed with State Share.

Sample screenshots of the upcoming activity feed can be found below.

Lastly, in the future Stadia update web users will be able to manage videos recorded on the platform better. Users will be able to delete video captures and State Shares in bulk.

Google has pointed out that the are yet-to-be-released features it detailed in the Stadia blog today are only mock-ups. Some elements of the updates such as the design may change. A concrete launch window for the updates is also unavailable at the moment.
