We shoud add in Help and Discussion center

Recommended Posts

Very often, when I go in the Help & Discussion Center

I don't click on the threads that have more than 2 replies

because I assume the problem has been taken care off.

Would it be possible to add "Problem pending" & "Problem solved"

on the forum main page... as a way to tell us if the problem as been taken care of

the "problem solved" would be triggered by the person who started that thread.

and problem pending would start as soon as another person replies to the thread.

Let me know what you think :)

When a thread dies.. its good enough to tell me 1 of 2 things.

A. the user fixed it

B. they don't care about it anymore.

Thus making all that extra stuff you ask, unnecssary.

I've been here at neowin for a long time, and we've survived without such things. I don't see a change needed..

:)

If too many help threads get posted at once,

the thread will die much more quickly...

and the person who really needs help won't get any support

I think it's a good idea. And if the topic is like "Help what do i do" the mods should rename it to the correct topic.

or ban a user that don't have 2 brain cells to properly name such thread.

since 90% of "Help what do i do" threads usually contain "i got this windows error "file not found" how to fix it?"
