Company of Heroes 2 has been available for free through giveaways plenty of times in the past, and it is time for another round, though this time it is not alone. Sega and Relic Entertainment are offering the World War II set real-time strategy game for free, and this time, Ardennes Assault is being included in the festivities.
The Company of Heroes 2 base game contains the Soviet campaign as well as the Soviet and German armies to use in multiplayer. Meanwhile, Ardennes Assault expansion is a single-player standalone experience surrounding The Battle of the Bulge, where players take charge of the US Allied forces against the Oberkommando West.
During this 'Free Forever Weekend' promotion that ends on May 31 at 10AM PT, both of these comprehensive packages can be claimed to keep forever for the low, low price of nothing. Normally, without a sale, the duo goes for $19.99 each.
At the same time, Sega is also running a giveaway for the game's Case Blue Mission Pack, but this one must be accessed by going to the separate page set up by the publisher and logging in via Steam. There is also a Steam sale running for the entire franchise if you're keen on picking up any of the other DLC packs or even the original Company of Heroes.
