And now Trump's blog is gone too... after less than a month since launch

After the former U.S. President Donald J. Trump was banned from several of the social media platforms like Facebook and from Twitter for allegedly inciting the Capitol riots, his senior adviser Jason Miller informed Fox News that the former President would be making a comeback online in "about two or three months" via "his own platform" that would "completely redefine the game".

As Miller had stated, a new section was indeed set up on Trump's website and named "From the Desk of Donald J. Trump" where the former prez would be able to "speak freely and safely" and get his statements, thoughts, and ideas across to his fans and followers. The desk was launched on May 4th and today - which is actually a time spanning less than a month - the page has been taken down.

The development was noticed by CNBC and has since been confirmed by Jason Miller that 'The Desk of Donald J. Trump' section on Trump's website has indeed been removed and it "will not be returning".

That's not the end of it though as Miller has added that the desk "was just auxiliary to the broader efforts" that Trump's team is working on, although he has apparently not clarified what those efforts are.

Interestingly, from Miller's tweet, it can be taken as a confirmation that Trump would be joining another social media platform. Whether that platform is an existing one or if it is something completely new remains to be seen.
