HP has unveiled its latest Pavilion Aero 13 laptop with a sleek magnesium-aluminum chassis. According to the company, this machine has an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. Weighing in at under 1kg, it is one of the lightest 13.3-inch notebooks in the market.

At the core of the Pavilion Aero 13 is AMD's latest Ryzen 7 5800U mobile processor with AMD Radeon graphics. The computer comes with Wi-Fi 6 and delivers up to 10.5 hours of battery life on a single charge. The laptop sports a 13.3-inch IPS display with "2.5k" resolution. It has an aspect ratio of 16:10 and covers 100 percent of the sRGB color gamut. For sunlight legibility, HP claims to have tuned the screen for 400 nits of peak brightness.

As per HP, the Pavilion Aero 13 will be upgraded to Windows 11 later this year. While the company hasn't revealed detailed specifications, the press release duly highlights how sustainable this machine is. As per the brand, all the plastic that goes into making the Pavilion Aero 13 has been derived from recycling.

The laptop will come in Pale Rose Gold, Warm Gold, Ceramic White, and Natural Silver. HP claims these hues are achieved with water-based paint to reduce Volatile organic compounds (VOC) emissions caused by the conventional paint processes.

The Pavilion Aero 13 has a starting price of $749 and is expected to be available for purchase in July from HP.com. The device will also sell via select US retailers later this fall.
