Cosmin
Hi everybody.. I have W11 RTM (21H2 22000.258) installed and saw today that selective startup is checked. The ideea is that.. I cannot change it to normal since it goes back to selective even after restart. I also tried : 1. Creating a new admin account - no luck 2. In safe mode.. tried to change it, restart in normal mode - no luck 3. no virus or any third-party antiv software installed - just defender. don't know what to do more.. any suggestions/ thanks! +devHead Subscriber² Posted October 16, 2021 Subscriber² Share Posted October 16, 2021 Mine is the same way - but I am dual-booting with another Windows 10 instance, and a Linux distribution (which uses Grub for the bootloader). Are you dual-booting as well?
+devHead Subscriber² Posted October 16, 2021 Subscriber² Share Posted October 16, 2021 Maybe it's because you don't have Fast boot enabled? I also do not have Fast boot enabled. If it doesn't seem to impact your computer's performance, I wouldn't really worry about it.
xMorpheousx416
Look at your StartUp tab. If anything there is disabled, you may not be able to use normal startup. Tantawi 1 Share
