Plarkster
I recently bought a DVD Writer so I thought Id copy my SUSE 9 cdroms onto a dvd to save all the disc swapping. I thought that it would be as simple as copying all 5 cdroms to the hard disk, and then use Nero to burn a bootable DVD containing these files. But it doesnt work - the DVD boots, but when I select 'Installation' from the SUSE menu it asks for a module disk and seems to look for it in the floppy drive. Does anyone know how to burn this properly? I guess that it's something in the 'Boot' settings of Nero, but dont know what.
markwolfe Veteran Posted February 15, 2004 Veteran Share Posted February 15, 2004 Well, there is https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=140978 this thread that talks about Fedora. In that case, there was a DVD image available. Not sure for SUSE, though... There seems to be some information on their website's forums on this matter. Here is the link: http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-linux-e...3-Dec/1618.html Best of luck! Mark (P.S. If you figure it out and get it to work, please post the info here so others can look at it and benefit. Thanks!)
