The 27" LG UltraGear 240Hz FreeSync Premium IPS gaming monitor is $123 off

27 inch LG UltraGear gaming monitor

If you prefer shopping on Amazon and you happen to be looking around for a gaming monitor, there's some good news for you. The 27" LG UltraGear 27GN750-B model is currently selling for $123 (or 31%) off at $276.99.

The UltraGear 27GN750-B, being a gaming monitor, is feature-packed with gaming features. It is a super-fast 240Hz refresh rate display with 1ms (GTG) response times. Hence, it should be great for fast competitive shooters, among other genres.

It comes with the middle-tier AMD FreeSync Premium support (also Nvidia G-Sync Compatible). This means the monitor has low framerate compensation (LFC) technology which allows it to provide a tear-free experience even if the gaming framerate falls below the FreeSync range of the monitor. LFC works by multiplying the available frames so that the monitor's framerate output does not fall below the minimum value in the FreeSync range.

The LG UltraGear 27GN750-B is 400 nits bright typically and the colors are also pretty good. The monitor is an IPS screen with a 99% sRGB certification. It also comes with HDR10 certification.

The only real drawback of the 27GN750-B is its 1080p screen resolution despite being a 27-inch display. However, as it is a gaming monitor, it is not expected of people to sit up real close to the screen in order to notice all the finest details, and hence a high pixel density may not be all that necessary depending on the games you wish to play.
