Si Veteran Posted February 18, 2004 Author Veteran Share Posted February 18, 2004 Right. I've collected together these programs so far: Firefox 0.8 Internet Explorer 5.2.1 Windows Media Player Microsoft Remote Desktop Client MSN Messenger 3.0 (I hear the only thing 3.5 adds is ads) UT2004 Demo (I don't expect this to run well but what do I know, this is my first mac after all) Anything else? Bling3k12
You can drop IE... you really don't need it :p Well, unless you're a web designer, then you'll need it to test out your sites, but that's the only reason I keep it around... And don't worry about the dead pixel issue, some have them, some don't. I don't know of anyone that replaces LCD's for having 1-2 pixels dead from any manufacturer. Luckily my iBook doesn't have any. Also, might want to call apple and check up on your status of the iBook, just to check, or if you have a shipping tracking #, use that to see if it's anywhere.
