Powerworks
While trying to install Fedora it asks me where the media is located.. I choose cdrom and it says they're not in the drive.. So I hit ctrl+alt+F1 to see what was really happening and it turns out it cannot read the filesystem on the cd. So I check the images I have, the checksum's all match up... Anyone have any suggestions?
markwolfe Veteran Posted February 16, 2004 Veteran Share Posted February 16, 2004 Did you burn your CD correctly? I mean, when you open it up and look at the files, do you see folders and files? Or do you see xxxxxxxx.iso?
HellBender
What did you use to burn it?

Powerworks
No I burned it correctly, and it will boot from the cd, even let me enter the installation, but when it comes to reading data from the cds it says they are not in the drive. Then when I checked the console it says it could not mount the drive becuse it was an unrecognized file system.
