Linux Mint - Deprecated Keys

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I recently wiped my Linux partition and installed Linux Mint 21 (Cinnamon). I've been installing the various applications that I use, but I've noticed the following message when running the update command in the terminal:

GPGkey.png.fbd9998b3c9ac8189220259764e34c9f.png

Teamviewer was installed using a .deb package from their website, and Veracrypt (unit193 in the above command line) was installed by adding the repository and installing it through the terminal.

I think I understand the message, but despite doing some research online I don't seem to be entering the correct commands to add these keys into the necessary folder to get rid of the error.

Could one of you more educated Linux users help me out? :)

Many thanks in advance.

You need a keyring for the app. Sometimes Mint doesn't have those. Umm, I haven't used that in ages. Let me look up the correct code..

This is for Ubuntu, but Mint is based off that..
