2.6.3-rc4

Recommended Posts

Anyone used it?

(Yes, I have to be on the bleeding edge of the alpha kernels) ;)

I foud it to be awesome...

Torvalds added a BUNCH of radeon fixes, so that's all very nice now....

(Also added a lot of PPC fixes, but that doesn't affect me )

Any other impressions?

radeon fixes would be nice indeed...mine runs fine, but it can take some work getting it to run properly.

But no, haven't tried it...I bothed my upgrade to 2.6.1 (first ever botched install---I messed up my wireless somehow and my sound...still haven't discovered why it won't work) so that kind of discouraged me from upgrading again for a bit.

I'll either try again pretty soon or I'll just wait for the next verion of slackware...of course getting the swaret repositories to have the 2.6.x kernels would save me a lot of trouble...

hrm, shame on me, i'm still using 2.6.3-rc3-love1 sources with the love-patchset by steel300... very stable & snappy though.... given that this are heavily patched sources with lots of experimental patches in them... can't wait for next stable kernel to come out :woot:

I use love as well :)

They totally rock. However, I'm still using 2.6.1-love5 *blush*

Have been busy. Tried to upgrade to the latest sources yesterday, but there appears to be a conflict with my hard drive. That sucks ;)

I'm also running love-sources. Probably the best patchset I've seen. Very responsive and fast. I'm still running 2.6.2_rc2-love4 though, and I just saw that 2.6.3_rc3-love2 is out. Gah! Time to upgrade!
