me101 Veteran Posted September 9, 2001 Veteran Share Posted September 9, 2001 The pictures for the usernames are located in the following directory. %systemdrive%Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataMicrosoftUser Account PicturesDefault Pictures They have the following format: airplane.bmp, 48x48 pixels, 24bit, 96dpi When a user picture is picked from the available selection, the bitmap is copied to the parent directory under a file corresponding to the name of the user. If you browse to find a suitable picture (in jpg/bmp/gif/png format), that bitmap is scaled to the approx dimensions and saved as a *.bmp in the parent dir.
