LunaC
Has anyone found a way to change those icons on the start menu? No programs I've found yet will do it & I'm not sure which file I'd have to use ResHacker on.
snake_old
? You'll find those icons in shell32.dll located in windowssystem32 folder. Look in the icon group and the # for those are 23 and 25, 24 is the help icon . Hope this helps

disciple
don't bother using rehacker and messing up your shell32.dll. you can change all the start menu icons in regedit. visit http://www.virtualplastic.net/msgboard/mes...tml?1005541844: Now some of these are at HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTCLSID, with a DefaultIcon subkey. LunaC
Hmmm, thanks for showing me that way, it may be easier. If there are 2 ways of getting to them, why can't the regular icon changers get to them? I'd rather doing it that way... maybe one will in a later release. Until then, I'll poke around both those areas and see what I can do.
plastic
Thanks disciple. Basically, using startmenu classic style, you'll need to hack. Using the new startpanel, there's easier/safer ways. Instead of that msgboard thread, check this page.
