4070TI or 7900XTX or 7900XT

Hello Everyone,

 

I am back and forth on what GPU to purchase, seems like every day my mind changes. The three contenders are the 4070TI, 7900XT and 7900XTX.

 

Between the 7900XTX and 7900XT, its strictly a stock thing and my being impatient for the 7900XTX to be in stock again (I am looking at the FE card). The 7900XT could be FE or a third party.

 

Then I look at the 4070TI and it is a good card to, overpriced sure, but still a good card.

 

I am looking to get something with some longevity to it as far as not needing to worry about playing games in 5 years cause I went cheap.

 

I game at 1440p, and wand no compromise, max settings. I would have RT on if the FPS is still good but ultimately it is not a requirement for me.

 

 

Just looking for some feedback on what others think.

The 7900 XT is actually a great deal ATM, some of the aftermarket models, like the xfx merc310, are selling for under $900, which makes it better overall value than the 4070 Ti IMO, since you already said you don't care for RT too much.
