Daniel F. Administrators Posted February 19, 2004 Administrators Share Posted February 19, 2004 In a brief statement, the company said the rumors about the posted "source code" were "based on the speculation of an individual who saw a small section of the unidentified code and thought it looked like Windows Code." A spokeswoman did not elaborate. But the statement said the company is examining the matter. The posting, on a Web site called Neowin.net, said the code belongs to Windows 2000 and Windows NT. It is hard to tell whether all the code is included, the posting said. The posting went on to urge anyone with knowledge of how the code got on the Net to contact Microsoft's anti-piracy department. It called the ramifications of the leak far reaching. http://www.quicken.com/investments/news_ce...ar&column=P0DFP
