Do you want the Customizing Linux section?

Should Neowin have a 'Customising Linux' catagory?? (like 'customizing windows' and 'customizing mac') ?

i dont see a place to put it unless they changed customizing 98/me/2000/xp to customizing os's and then one for windows and one for linux...but unless there are over 100 people that want it, i think it is really a waste, it wont be used very much.

I agree.

We need to get more traffic in the Linux forums and start to show that Linux is maturing very well for a great, good looking OS. Having a category will allow us to showcase and discuss customizing issues without getting in the way of other, more serious(?) posts.

Instead of doing that, I think it would make more sense to break it out, like the Mac section is...

what's linux? oh the OS we will have to pay soon or later because of lame SCO?

Linux by itself is just a kernel, not an OS. Linux will remain free until SCO won the lawsuit, and until then, they can't even make you pay a dime for using Linux.

I'm not worried, I think SCO is in over their heads with this one

yep SCO was stupid in starting to do this. even if they do succeed Ibet that there will be a replacement incredibly quickly and SCO will wonder what they are going to do with UNIX now that it is obsolete.
