Longhorn + Windows XP SP2 Forum

Recommended Posts

SP2 is not going to be a long term beta and not as big as Longhorn will be - so it makes sense to leave the forum as it is.

Longhorn is going to be more revolutionary when the official betas start, and that forum will cater for it.

Though you are welcome to make your SP2 threads in the Windows NT4/2000/XP Client forum :)

Radish?

Windows NT4/2000/XP Client has more support discussion for final products rather than betas so I feel the not having a specific place for SP2 is impairing furthur discussion of it and preventing new topics on it.

It's a support forum, it doesn't say anything about discussion for final products, and also XP SP1 was discussed all the time in that forum without any problems

So it won't impair further discussion for XP SP2, but to make you happy I'll do something about it ;)

By the power vested in me as Neowin Super Moderator, I declare the Windows NT4/2000/XP Client forum to be the basis for all Windows XP SP2 discussion

There it is, now in official forum :ninja:

Well how about a forum for every Microsoft beta then? ;) (maybe as a subforum even)

I don't think so ;)
