.will
I was just watching TechLive. They had a news story that the web went through a major slowdown around 4:00 (not sure what time, but I'm guessing Eastern) yesterday. I was on around this hour and I experienced the MySQL errors and then the time travel later. Could this be the reason for the problems?

oldmate15
You might need to explain that a little better. So you are saying that you experienced time travel?
.will
No the time travel on the forums how all those posts were lost. EDIT: See topic about the time travel here
BMac
Sounds plausable to me. With all the viruses around Neowin has been really slow lately. I guess the server crapped out and they didn't have a newer back up. That's why it restored to a few days back.
MxxCon
what you saw on TechLive was this/this and it has nothing to do with database corruption experienced on neowin's servers. neowin has been slow NOT becuase of viruses. sheesh people, if you are going to comment, at least get some facts about what's going on :/
