SMeK Veteran Posted February 25, 2004 Veteran Share Posted February 25, 2004 what connection do you have at home and who is it from?
configure Veteran Posted February 25, 2004 Veteran Share Posted February 25, 2004 The fact that you can access Neowin at work (and post this thread) ruled out the possibility of your account being blocked/banned. I am thinking that there can be a problem with you connection settings. Are you using WindowsXP?
SMeK Veteran Posted February 25, 2004 Veteran Share Posted February 25, 2004 i was wondering that as he is in the uk he might be on pipex internet and they are having a connectivity problem atm also lots of sites and servers around the uk seem to be playing up for no aparent reason, i think the whole of the uk is being re-routed or sumin

[ timko ]
I'm guessing it's just conincidental with the time of day that NW appears to be suffering from thr DDOS attacks. Where I live, NW always slows down, and pops up with the SQL errors or server too busy messages, in the evenings whereas during the day time everything appears to be fine. Just a guess. Chaicup, what exatly comes up on your browser when you enter https://www.neowin.net when you're at home? (leave it at least 30seconds after you've pressed enter, or the go button, and then tell us the result :) )
