SFNE Freak
No. I spent well over $100 on iTMS then I was in a hurry to reformat and forgot to back up and well....those ###### never responded to my request to let me download again either. It goes without saying that I stick to buying CD's now and wouldn't use iTunes again. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93033 Don't blame it on them. You already used their bandwidth to download the songs once.
kairon
Humans make mistakes, ok?I don't need anyone to stick up for them. What if I payed to buy a program to download?Just because the file came corrupt I can't use their bandwidth to redownload what I bought?Hell, even Handango lets you redownload programs you've bought whenever you want. It's Apple who has no sympathy for loyal customers. So screw them.

What if I payed to buy a program to download?Just because the file came corrupt I can't use their bandwidth to redownload what I bought? I went to the music store, I bought a CD (South park - bigger longer uncut). I tossed it on the floor of my car without ever listening to it because I have a MiniDisc deck - not CD. When I was getting in the car the CD got caught in the door jam - just bad luck. The CD cracked and the case shattered. It was my own dumbass fault for not being more careful with my property. This is the same situation for you: You downloaded something you paid for, didn't back it up, and now you're angry because Apple isn't going to break the rules of the agreement you signed up for in order to undo damage done by your own stupidity/laziness/carelessness. It's nice that apple makes exceptions for some people who have problems with iTMS, but those are exceptions no the rule. You won't find any sympathy from me. Yes, they only have like the best support in the industry... You're just mad because you stupidly deleted your song collection. :p
jsklar
ya know it could be possible that this is a DJ company or something ... maybe a radio station that bought all the music to play, and Apple just doesn't know it ... though if it was something like that or some guy selling burned cds ... apple probably would have looked into the matter before mentioning it so casually, that is an insane amount of money for them to expect a normal customer to spend on music.... Ficman
God think of it you could get all of Britney's, Jessica's and Cristina's hits with that... Aaaaa Errr Check that $1.98 would cover that, let's see that makes 29,993.02 left for all the rest. I couldn't freakn spend that kind of dough on music...
