jolhof Posted July 20, 2001 Share Posted July 20, 2001 Hey everyone, it seems others besides me had this problem. Transparent icon text in WinXP. Well here is how to get clear icon text. Go to Control panel- then System - then Advanced - Performance - check the box that says "use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop". Click okay and that's it.
