Bruinator
Hi, I am trying to img my win 11 laptop using acronis true image 2021. The image starts out ok but after a few minutes I gat an error message that it cant timage the following file app-logos-2x2.svg. I tried searching my computer for the file but it can not be found. Does anyone know what the file is / does and how to get the image to work or whatever needs to be done to ensure a successful image of my pc Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1450879-pc-image-issue/ Share on other sites
ShadeOfBlue
First, see the troubleshooting steps from Acronis here. What is the precise wording of the error? Are you creating the image through the Windows app or by using a True Image boot disk? Other more general things to try: Check for problems with the drive. A full diagnostic would be nice, but at least reviewing the SMART status using CrystalDiskInfo or GSmartControl would help. You'd be looking for any SMART attributes colored red, indicating a problem. Check for problems with the file system. Right-click on the drive in Windows File Explorer, choose Properties, then go to the Tools tab and look for Error checking. Click Check, and follow the prompts. I used the windows app but I prefer to use acronis if possible with win 11? Taliseian
You could try making an ISO of Acronis and booting it from a USB drive? Bruinator 1 Share Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1450879-pc-image-issue/#findComment-598959541 Share on other sites

Oh I'm sorry, I should be more clear. There are a couple different ways to run Acronis. Are you using the Acronis app in Windows? Or... like Taliseian mentioned, did you use the feature that let's you create a bootable USB drive with Acronis on it, and you're using that instead? It took 45 mins to do though. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1450879-pc-image-issue/#findComment-598959569 Share on other sites
