suprfli
when i download stuff like MSN Messenger and other apps i keep them in a backup folder and then burn them to a CD every couple of weeks or when i have the time. i do this in case i ever need to go back and install a file that's no longer available or i can't find it(like an older version of ICQ that i like better or an old video driver). anyway, when i burn the files i don't close the cd and make it a multi-session disk. i keep burning and adding apps until the cd is full. lately i needed a file and put the cd into my winXP machine and it only saw like 4 files and not the other 109 that were on there that i burned at different times. i right-clicked on the cd and under volumes i populated them and it only sees 9MB. in my win98se machine i see all of the files. as a side note, maybe this is a driver or cd player specific problem b/c i put the same cd in my plextor cd burner and it saw all 113 objects. any ideas on what's causing this and how i might fix it?
