Was watching Friends..

Well I was watching Friends on TV and Ross had a speech typed up in his Powerbook. (I could tell it was, even though they blocked the apple logo with a grey block on it, at a different angle i saw part of the apple) And then I think Joey started to check his email on Ross' mac and opened up one that said "naked anna kournikova". So after that they said that it detected a virus. lol..just wanted to share...

anyone seen this episode?

Actually, that is plausible. Norton Antivirus for the Mac will detect and remove PC viruses. Even though they can't do anything to the Mac, this can keep them from spreading to other machines. Would have been nice if they had made that more clear though ;) , but I guess that would have been an advertisement for Apple :D .

Nick Burns from SNL is still the best. All his jokes are real life I.T. scenarios. I heard that Jimmy Fallon has a bachelor's in computer science.

Matrix, Antitrust.

Yeah, thinking of it, Matrix was pretty accurate. Never seen Antitrust though.

Usually the GUI is completely ridicolous, and they always make those stupid computer sounds from the 80's.

Come to think of it, there are so many inaccuracies in movies...

Like airbags that stay inflated, spiders and cockroaches that squeak, bombs that make loud countdown beeps, people that are thrown back by gunshots and so on. Always make me laugh :)

haha i just watched the season 2 again last night, there was an episode where Chandler got his new notebook and he was like,"check out this bad boy!! 12 megabytes of ram, 500 megabytes hard drive, built in spreadsheet capabilities AND a modem that transmits at over 28000 bps!"

we've come a long way... :)
