TomServoi mentioned a problem of running .net at night and it will force u to activate? is this true (im gonna d/l 3604). 2. Veteran Posted February 15, 2002 Veteran Share Posted February 15, 2002 yeah. you will need to activate it but just like there were CORP files for Eval 2600 there is Corp files for the server. I don't about the police thing but i doubt it. MS don't got that much time (or the cops) to be hunting down people who might have the demo version of something that they shouldn't. They can't really tell the difference anyways as for the people on Copr XP Pro knows... there's no way for MS to tell the difference between this corp and the real thing because they are the SAMETHING but just not in a corporate company but MS can't tell if you bought it or not. and yeah..clean installs are always better.. the junk from the old OS wont be pressent to possibly cause probs!
