wilfried
I have a little problem with iTunes on my iBook G4. When I quit it, it just re-launch right away. I have to quit it several times before it stops re-launching on its own... What's going on?
danbalsh
Do you have any extra plugins installed? if so trash them. Also might help to trash the itunes.plist file :)
wilfried
Where do I find installed plugins? and that plist file, where is it and what does it do? Thanks ;)
SPeedY_B
Home > Library > iTunes > iTunes Plug-ins and Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.iTunes.plist To my knowledge it's just a store of all your iTunes preferences. Trashing it will reset everything :)

They most likely restart iTunes every time you quit it.
Garry
Go to Applications > Utilities and run Console. Start iTunes - have a look what comes up in the Console window. It'll probably tell you why iTunes is crashing. If not, open a finder window and search your hard drive for iTunes. Look for an iTunes crash log. Open that in TextEdit, and again, look for the crash reason.

Just restarting. Yea, I'm assuming you have an iTunes Konfabulator widget or some sort of thing that ties into iTunes running.
wilfried
So... I have no plugins, I removed all iTunes plist files, removed iTunes Apple Scripts and all itunes widgets. It did not make a difference. I also removed it and re-installed it and that did not help either. Consol doesn't show anything since it doesn't crash, it just keep re-launching. If I quit it from the 'iTunes' menu it re-launch every time. If I quit from the dock icon context menu, then it doesn't re-launch and DO quit... it's weird...
