ltworf
Just out of curiousity, I was wondering if there was some way to be the last time somebody was online on their profile? I was just trying to look up a couple ppl that i used to talk to, and was just wondering if they were still active on the board or not. Thanks

zhangm Supervisor Posted March 5, 2004 Supervisor Share Posted March 5, 2004 Autodeleted? Hmm, I thought people got retained... There are plenty of people who come here for the news, and never post in the forums...

BxBoy
it shouldn't be too hard to implement.. that info should already be in the datebase..
ltworf
Yea i know i can see when they last posted.. but it would better if they could just put it on say the profile page or somethign of when they last were online. If not thats cool no big deal.
KC
Within the whole Beetlegeuse "delete my account" threads there was talk that mods do not delete accounts by hand but they just let them expire. They don't expire they just lay there unused. The only way they would "expire" is if the board was set to auto prune accounts not used in X amount of days or one of the Admins removes the account. If you look in the members list you will see thousands of accounts that zero posts or just one from 2 or so years ago. I remember lots of times threads where started about getting all the unused usernames removed and the admins refused not to.

Mods don't delete accounts, they can't do it. I really doubt that we have pruning going on. Redmak can confirm this with you guys.
Wannes
When you check their last posts made you could roughly estimate the last time they came to the forums unless of course that they only read. ;) -Couch Potato?
Tim Dorr Veteran Posted March 5, 2004 Veteran Share Posted March 5, 2004 There is a field in the users table that tracks the users's last activity. If you check the official IPS forums, this is a feature coming in IPB2.0: http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?showuser=
Wannes
Handy feature. Redmak also stated he wouldn't add MODifications untill 2.0 was released anyways. :) -Couch Potato?
