Boeing 787
Anybody know where explorer takes this picture from ????? If you have a white background it looks a little funny in your browser but it shows up automatically when you customize a folder in XP. I want to know where it's store at. Dazzla Veteran Posted February 17, 2002 Veteran Share Posted February 17, 2002 hmmm thats strange, thats a system icon from OS X, I'd like to know where that appears, because that isn't the background which appears on my pictures folders. Why do you want to know anyway?
Y/C
This appears in the shellstyle.dll. You're probably using a theme like AquaXP, or any other which has in its folder this particular .dll. You can modify it by using reshacker.
Boeing 787
Cool.....was wondering were that was coming from, now how do I get it to produce a background pic for regular folders but big like the control panel ??????
Y/C
Select the bitmap you want to modify from reshacker, right click on this image and select copy. Then open photoshop, click new and paste the image. Change it the way you like it, and save it to a temp folder. (Note: Don't change the image size, leave it as it was originally pasted). After then, go to reshacker select action -> replace bitmap. Find the bitamp you want to replace with the one you saved to your temp folder. Click "save" (not "save as...") to save the shellstyle.dll. The original one will not be overwriten it will be renamed to "shellstyle_original.dll" by the program.
