linuxman111
I get that as well. I read that you need to delete your preference file as it is corrupted. I think its in "My Music". Hold on. *checks My Music* yup, its in My Music under itunes. Try that.

linuxman111
I get this sometimes, I go into task manager and end the process. It starts up the next time I click the icon. I tried that too but for me it never worked. Itunes would work fine for a while, then all of a sudden, it just wouldn't open. I have the same problem with quicktime from time to time. Nost sure why. linuxman111
In my itunes folder under my music, I have an xml file which I gather is my preferences, a itunes music db file, and the actual itunes music folder. you don't have these two files? linuxman111
From my understanding, if its not there, then find it and delete it. Basically, I read, wish I saved the link now, that itunes preference file gets corrupted. By deleting it, when you start itunes, it will recreate it for you. Elliott
he has those files, it's just that people thought that he was talking about the Mac version instead of the Windows version. If people thought he was talking about the Mac version they probably would've said delete the com.apple.itunes.plist file in ~/Library/Preferences/. Glad to hear it Boffa. :D
