Little annorying though. But at least the forum is fast as hell now.

Just got another 15 so far. :( But at least a refresh works. Thank god or it would take forever to make a simple reply. Even though it just did it again while making this one. :(

It says it can't find the database... sounds like a Drive Throughput issue.

No. The SQL server keeps going down.

Radish said on MSN that Neobonds been tinkering with the server... i sure hope he stops

Homer, is it just me or did the hosting package you're pimping in your sig just got better? If it did, I'm glad I didn't sign up for it the last time I saw it :) (Y)

I aint trying to make money, im just trying to get enough people to pay for the server really.

Was there a DNS change or something? I'm here only because of a HOSTS file fix.

 That's long since been finished (Y) You can remove the entry from your hosts file

Actually, we are doing it AGAIN :p Moving from ZoneEdit to our own Name Server now.. Be patience ;)

what will this mean for neowin? like better server, faster connection?

Same server, but probably faster domain resolvations and hopefully better uptime.

It just means the server handles it's own name resolutions rather than relying on someone else to do so. It's not that major of a change and won't represent any speed difference because you're only querying DNS on your first hit. After that, it's all cached data.
