MulletRobZ Posted March 8, 2004 Share Posted March 8, 2004 Greetings. While I was going to update some of the software, I noticed that a good amount of them required GLIBC 2.3 or higher. However, in Mandrake 9.0, GLIBC is only version 2.2 if I'm not mistaken and when I was about to update the RPM, it said that it would have to wipe out virtually every package? Why would this have to occur? It would be nice if I could override this and please don't tell me to upgrade my OS because I had enough headaches over installing OSes and I'm through with that.
