kongit
The "must haves" are often included in the distro. I know that they are with mandrake

kongit
they come with mandrake. gkrellm does to if I remember correctly. Use gaim for messenger...but it comes with mandrake. Yes it comes with mandrake. Why worry about what programs you need because most of them come with mandrake.
RandyC
WALES RULES!that program looks good any others such as messenger, irc etc thanks welshkid :D You must be happy then that Mandrake installs in Welsh then :) I don't mind Welsh (the language), although that sorry excuse for Channel 4 (SC4) is really annoying ... oh to live on the other side of Cardiff (where they have the proper Channel 4 24/7) where I wouldn't have to be subjected to that BS stuff on the valleys all the time ... at least they could make some latenight welsh p0rn to liven up that dead channel. End of moan ... CYMRU!! -RandyC-

I wouldn't want to learn the language either, although with the WDA money we are getting I bet they would like us to learn through work so I may not be safe from it yet :( Good on you for installing Mandrake, been using it for years now and in my opinion its always been the best all-round distro, it has something for everyone. -RandyC-

Rockett15
:) Check out the Karamba section of KDE-LOOK.org http://www.kde-look.org/index.php?xcontent...d06219dac4dde05 Download and install SuperKaramba then you can run things like LiquidWeather++ :D EDIT: Here is SuperKaramba if you can't find it :) http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=5810
ChrisJM
I have tried installing this... I install it then i goto the folder its in (file:/usr/local/kde/share/applnk/Utilities/karamba.desktop) and try running it... It says could not find 'superkaramba' executable... Any ideas? Rockett15
try opening the terminal and typing SuperKaramba; that may work.. otherwise, I havent used Mandy in an age so the executable file could be executed from the terminal and i'd guess it would be in either /usr/bin/ or /usr/local/bin :) I assume you installed the Mandy RPM by saying this.
