linuxman111
I don't use Mandrake anymore, but I once tried it and had loads of problems with my Nforce2 ultra box and the Nvidia drivers. Does anyone know if this chipset, with the soundstorm onboard sound are supported out of the box with Mandrake 10 Community? Thanks.
kemical
since mdk 10 is using latest kernel then yea you should have no problem.. there have been updated patches to the kernel for inforce chipset since youve last used mdk ;)
MulletRobZ
I don't know if the latest NVidia Drivers will work in MDK 10 since I'm still having problems putting on the newest versions in MDK 9 as opposed to Slackware and Fedora 2 Test 1.

Fiskarn
I just installed MDK10 and i dont have any problems with the Nvidia drivers besides it says on the drivers homepage that the driver can be used with Linux kernel 2.6. the only problem i have is that when i play movies i get this purple tint. i wonder why that is :(
hornett
I also get wrong colours with kernel 2.6 and the nvidia drivers...I always have to adjust the hue to get them to look normal.
kemical
have you guys tried updating to latest xfree 4.4? its got more nvidia/ati improvements added to maybe that will correct your video problems.. another thing too, you could always recompile your kernel to not include the nvidia graphics adjustments as well and just use the module supplied by nvidia.com
