I mean, just that stat alone clearly shows who had control of the match. Second, don't blame the linesmen (yes, linesmen, not umpire, this isn't baseball) for Ma. U losing, in fact, blame it on Man U. themselves. They score a goal, which puts them ahead in aggregate, and what do they do? Yes, you guessed it, THEY DEFENDED! Any soccer fan knows that defending a score will backfire, and it was all Man. United's fault. Now to diving, Carlos Alberto was fouled hard at least 3 times by the same player, with no card. Yes, he did take at least 2 dives, but who doesn't? Porto, a disgrace to football? Apparently, some people have no clue about soccer, so they run around here in the forums and talk bad about a team they never saw play. Porto were missing 2 of their best players: Derlei, and Maciel. Derlei was last years leading UEFA Cup holder, and is out for injury, and Maciel is out due to him transferring in. Jorge Costa got injured, which left Porto without their captain and team leader, and they prevailed. Now why the hell would someone talk bad about Jose Mourinho? He has lost, hear this, ONCE in 2 years in the portuguese league, and hasn't lost a match since october overall (loss to Real Madrid 2-1). Jose Mourinho will end up coaching an elite team in europe, and he has proven to the world he is a top notch coach. They do rankings based on the last year rather than the 5 year rankings chosen by UEFA. So if Porto are 5th and Man Utd only 13th its hardly surprising than United lost then is it??? But i live in Porto, and i understand what football means for that people who adjust their lives only for the games matches. I a big shame i think. But, in relation of this great game i can understand that it was a very important game for both (man & porto). I congrats FCP porto (that i hate..) for this fantastic victory, not only for him, but because we are a very small country (a lot of ppl think that portugal, is a spain region) and now, whit the euro 2004, and the fantastic image that FC Porto is giving to the world, i'm every day happiest to be Portuguese. I think Portugal, is growing, but still in the tail of europe. Congratulation Porto, Congratulation Portugal !!!
