theDose
I choose a 12" for portablily, as i have a desktop machine to do my work on. just curious as to which you would prefer. i know that cause i do graphic work, sometimes i wish i had a bigger screen. but it's for when i'm on the go or in a class or on the plane, there's room to spare
hornett
I'd of chosen the 12" one too. :) What is the screen's native resolution?
Chad
If you already have the desktop machine, why not get an iBook?
aaron901
i'd choose 15" over 12" anyday. simply for the widescreen. the 12" PB is too heavy to be "really" portable imo.
SonComet
I'd choose the 12.1" if I already had a nice G5 or something for my desktop. But if it was my only mac I would go for 15"-17". If 17" is too heavy, go for the 15.2" for sure (I too love widescreen).
Elliott
Since I have a G5, I would go for the 12" PowerBook (not an iBook G4). When I didn't have this G5, I had a 15" Aluminum PowerBook. Nothing could beat it as a portable desktop replacement. :D
TheWitePony
I just bought a 15.2" Tibook last summer and if I did it again I would probably go with the 12" as I have two desktop PC's already. So now I'm thinking, the more portable I am, the better. With any luck my next portable will be a 12" G5 powerbook. But, I guess it really depends on what you're going to do with it, since I got my Tibook I hardly ever use my PC's anymore so I guess I'm glad that I went with the Tibook instead of the 12" because of the performance boost with the 15". Cowpie
I bought a 12'' lil over a week ago, and all i can say is WOW, no contest between the two, the 12'' defines the ideal laptop.....
