danbalsh
One way to test it out is launch the 'CNet Video' player on www.cnet.com, that has options of Real & WMV. Click here to test Windows Media Player Plugin WMV for me plays right there in the Safari window. But for files that are not associated with any 'special' multimedia windows (such as porn sites :p ) the WMV/ASX files just open Windows Media Player. Hope that helps ya out. Edit: uploaded a screenshot of what I get Edited March 19, 2004 by danbalsh
michael.b
Yeah, on majority, mine used to open in a new window, until I installed Windows Media Player Series 9 for Mac. (The silver skinned one, not the blue and white stripes) All is good now with this new version. :) I guess back when most of my files weren't "special" associated files--come on now Dan, don't you know too much can make you go blind? :p
