NeoMayhem
1. is theres still logic-board problems with the ibook g4? No. 2. is there that white spot problem with the screen? No, that is only a problem on early 15'' AL PB's 3. general comments from owners? I have a 900mhz G3 and it is sweet. The G4 should be better. 4. is it okay not to buy apple care? I didn't get it for mine, the Logic Board on my G3 is the main thing that might go bad, and they will fix it for up to 3 years now.

Couldnt tell you personally but everybody seems to be happy with them 4. Definetly get applecare...one thing goes wrong and you end up paying half again as much to fix it :s Buy the ram elsewhere
noir
I'm thinking of getting myself an iBook (G4) but have a question on the fans, do they gradully speed up (and make alot of noise) when the processor gets hot or do they remain at the same pace?
